The Peoples Monastery is an artistic interfaith universalist organization that serves the world community through theatrical offerings, educational forums and spiritual ritual. Our objective is to illuminate the common aspects among societal groupings with specific focus on religious and spiritual doctrines and their influence on ethnicity, economics, gender, age and the myriad of other labels that separate souls from unification.

Theatrical Offerings are stage performances based upon religious doctrines and spiritual traditions incorporating the disciplines of theater, dance, music and multi-media. The aim of these artistic works is to display the root and heart of whichever divine path is being explored.

Educational Forums are workshops that aim to educate, clarify and delve more deeply into the themes presented within the theatrical offerings. Scholars, practitioners and the artists lead audience members and participants through exercises, lectures and constructive discussion.

Spiritual Ritual is simply a thirty minute silent circle meditation. This is one of the most neutral and universal forms of ritual for human souls of different faiths. Nothing is chanted or spoken. Participants have the option to sit on the floor or on chairs depending on their level of physical comfort. Traditionally, when projects are in rehearsal and performance the circle meditations occur at sunrise, midday and sunset.
